If you looked at this blog yesterday and then today, you will have noticed that there have been changes. I threw out the theme I had previously started with. It was loaded with a lot of things I didn’t want this site to do yet, including a great deal of javascript which is outside of my experience and I didn’t want the site doing anything I didn’t understand. Father, I do not understand what you mean by 'It smells like dog farts in here.' I mean, this is the sort of thing which I usually notice right away and I'm really not getting that right now, honest.

And here I am. I’m 48, I’m currently unemployed, and I’m trying to decide how I sell myself to people who are better at marketing than I am. I decided as long as I’m going about it I’ll keep my flow of content going by talking, among other things, about the process I’m going through as I stand up an actual website (something you would think I’d have done more in the last 10 years, but you’d be wrong) and make it functional and, hopefully attractive to the eye.
